In the Vedic tradition, the timing of an action is considered as important as the action itself. This is not superstition – it is a recognition that time is not neutral. Every moment carries a distinct quality, shaped by the position of the grahas, the Nakshatra of the Moon, the Tithi, and the subtle calculations of the Panchanga. Some moments carry the current with them. Others work against it.

Muhurta is the branch of Jyotisha dedicated to identifying those moments — the windows in which human effort and cosmic alignment meet. When a significant undertaking is begun in such a moment, it moves with the grain of time rather than against it.
